Season Ends at ASUN Tournament for Lacrosse Monarchs

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. The No. 4 seeded Old Dominion (5-13, 2-3 ASUN) lacrosse team fell to top seeded Jacksonville (15-3, 5-0 ASUN) by a 17-4 score at D.B. Milne Field on Thursday afternoon in the semifinal of the ASUN Championship.

Tutchton Named ASUN Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Four More Monarchs Earn ASUN Honors

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. Five lacrosse Monarchs earned ASUN honors as announced by the organization Wednesday evening. Cydney Tutchton earned ASUN Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Kerri Caruso was named to the ASUN All-Academic Team and ASUN Second Team All-Conference, Glory Johnson earned ASUN First Team All-Conference, Claire Porter and Lindsay Baer were both named to the ASUN All-Freshmen Team.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. The No. 4 seed ODU (5-12, 2-3 ASUN) is set to play top seeded and host Jacksonville (14-3, 5-0 ASUN) in the first round of the ASUN lacrosse tournament on Thursday, May 3 at 1 p.m.

NORFOLK, Va. In the weeks leading up to the 2018 ASUN Championships, senior Cydney Tutchton received multiple academic awards for her work off the field. ODU's Alumni Association's Outstanding Student in Biology, ODU's Outstanding Biology Student of the Year, and ODU's Scholar-Athlete of the Year to name a few.
