NORFOLK, Va. - ODU wrestling alumni Matt Small graduated in 2003 and went on to a career as a not only a teacher, but a successful wrestling leader and coach in the local wrestling community.

Brigadier General Austin Renforth Provides Wisdom to ODU Wrestlers

NORFOLK, Va. The Old Dominion wrestling team welcomed Brigadier General Austin Renforth to the Monarch wrestling room on Thursday afternoon. Brig. Gen. Austin Renforth is currently the commanding general of Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island and Eastern Recruiting Region. Brig. Gen. Renforth gave insight to the student-athletes on all the similarities both the Marine Corps and wrestling have together.

Four Monarchs Featured in December MAC Rankings; ODU Selected Fourth as a Team

CLEVELAND, Ohio Old Dominion wrestlers Michael McGee (125), Alex Madrigal (141), Larry Early (157), and Seldon Wright (174) were selected in the top four of their respective weight classes in the December MAC Rankings, as announced by the conference on Thursday afternoon. The Monarchs are ranked tied for fourth in the team rankings.

COLUMBIA, Mo. The Old Dominion (1-3, 0-1 MAC) wrestling team fell to conference foe; No. 4 Missouri (7-0, 1-0 MAC) on Saturday afternoon in the Hearnes Center, 36-3. Wins by nine Tiger wrestlers propelled Missouri over the Monarchs.

COLUMBIA, Mo. The Old Dominion wrestling team (1-2) begins MAC action against No. 4 Missouri (6-0) at 1 PM ET in the Hearnes Center in Columbia, Missouri. The Monarchs are most recently coming off a loss to No. 6 NC State, 25-15.
