TEMPE, Ariz. - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced the men's Division I regional award winners, in which Old Dominion's Adam Moundir (Luzern, Switzerland) was named the Player to Watch for the entire Atlantic Region.

Adam Moundir (Luzern, Switzerland) of the Old Dominion men's tennis team received a bid to the 2017 NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championships on Wednesday night. Moundir becomes the first ODU male tennis player to receive a bid to the NCAA Tournament since 2009, when Alex Seleznev accomplished the feat.
Adam Moundir was named the Outstanding Singles Player of the Championship, Moundir and Javier Jover Maestre claimed the Outstanding Doubles Team of the Championship, while ODU placed Moundir and Michael Weindl on the All-Conference USA Singles First Team, Jover Maestre on the Singles Second Team, as well as Moundir/Jover Maestre on the All C-USA Doubles First Team.

Moundir becomes the first student-athlete to repeat as the conference's top player since Arnau Brugues of Tulsa did it in 2006-2009.
