After a final round 282, the Old Dominion women's golf team finished in sixth place at the Moon Golf Invitational held at Duran Golf Club. ODU was led by freshman Leah Onosato, who shot a third round 69 (-3) on Tuesday afternoon. The Monarchs went 15 strokes better in the final round than their second round score.

After 36 holes of competition, the Old Dominion women's golf team is in eighth place at the Moon Golf Invitational hosted by Louisville. The Monarchs posted a 284 (-4) team score in the first round and 297 (+9) in the second round on the 6262-yard course.

The Old Dominion women's golf team finished in fourth place at the UCF Challenge after a third round seven-under 281. As a team, the Monarchs went 11-under on the par 72, 6349 yard course through the three day tournament. ODU finished ahead of seven top-50 ranked squads in their spring opening tournament.

NORFOLK, Va. Head coach Mallory Hetzel added Leah Onosato of Japan and Pilar Muguruza of Argentina to the 2019 roster on National Signing Day. Onosato will start in January of 2019 and Muguruza will start as a Monarch in August of 2019.
