The Old Dominion (3-2, 2-1 MAC) wrestling team is set to compete in the 39th Virginia Duals at the Hampton Coliseum on Jan. 11 and 12. ODU is set to face Kent State (6-7 1-1 MAC) on Friday at 11 a.m. This is the Monarchs 27th appearance at the in-state tournament.
Old Dominion women's basketball action returns to The Ted this weekend, as the Monarchs host Florida Atlantic and FIU in Conference USA play. ODU hosts FAU on Thursday followed by FIU on Saturday.

The Old Dominion (3-2, 2-1 MAC) wrestling team took down Northern Illinois (2-6, 0-2 MAC) on the road by a 23-12 final score to win back-to-back duals this weekend. ODU won six of 10 bouts, including a technical fall and a pin.
After trailing 21-0 to start the game, the Old Dominion men's basketball team (11-4, 1-1 C-USA) completed the largest comeback in school history with a 69-66 victory over Western Kentucky (8-7, 1-1 C-USA) on Saturday night at the Ted Constant Convocation Center. The previous school record for largest comeback was set in 2004, when ODU erased a 20-point deficit against George Mason in Fairfax, Va.
The Old Dominion women's basketball team fell to Western Kentucky, 75-60, on the road on Saturday afternoon at E.A. Diddle Arena.
Winning seven of the 10 bouts, the Old Dominion (2-2, 1-1 MAC) wrestling team dominated CMU (2-3, 1-1 MAC) on the road by a 24-9 final score. Sa'Derian Perry, Shane Jones and Seldon Wright earned bonus points for the Monarchs on Friday night.

The game experienced a total of 17 lead changes and 12 ties.

The Old Dominion women's basketball team was unable to overcome an 18-point deficit and ultimately fell at Marshall, 57-48, in the opening game of Conference USA play on Thursday night.
The Old Dominion (1-2, 0-1 MAC) wrestling team will travel to Central Michigan University (2-2, 1-0 MAC) and Northern Illinois (2-5, 0-1 MAC) for a two-match weekend.
