"This was a very gritty and gutsy performance," said ODU head coach Angie Hind. "Even though it finished 3-0 us, the match was much more even than the final score suggested."
Every year ODU women's soccer engages in various community projects to give something back to those in the area. This spring sees the launch of a new initiative that will allow our current ODU women's soccer players to interact with young budding soccer stars who would like to get to know their local hero's a little better. The program is based around soccer and the ODU players will offer a weekly coaching session that will provide a fun learning environment for participants between the ages of 7 and 11 to develop their soccer skills.
Head coach Angie Hind announced the ODU women's soccer 2018 spring schedule on Monday afternoon. The schedule features home matches against ECU, JMU and Virginia Wesleyan and away games at VCU and Richmond. Alumni Day will take place on April 21. Admission is free for all spring season matches.
