Jennie Simms (Women's Basketball) and Zach Rutherford (Baseball) were named the Old Dominion University Alumni Association Athletes of the Year, while Lee Dumaliang of Sailing and Raquel Couto of Women's Swimming were named the 2017 recipients of the Jack Wilkins/James Howard Scholar Athletes of the Year at the annual Old Dominion University Athletic honors banquet Monday night.

39 Student-Athletes Earn C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal

IRVING, Texas Old Dominion University had 39 student-athletes earn the Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Medal during the 2016-17 academic year, Commissioner Judy MacLeod announced today. Medals are given to those C-USA student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better.
