ODU a Finalist for Operation Hat Trick (OHT) 2017 Excellence in Service Award

HAMPTON, N.H., May 11, 2017 Operation Hat Trick (OHT), a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting wounded U.S. combat veterans, has recognized Old Dominion University's outstanding efforts in aiding the recovery of wounded U.S. combat service members and veterans by naming the school a finalist for its 2017 Excellence in Service Award. In recognition of the school's impact, OHT will make a donation to Combat Wounded Coalition on the University's behalf. Operation Hat Trick Founder and President Dot Sheehan presented the Excellence in Service Award on May 11 in Nashville.

Six ODU Athletic Teams Notch Perfect APR Scores

NORFOLK, Va. For the third-straight year, six NCAA Division I Old Dominion University athletic programs recorded perfect single-year APR scores of 1000, as reported today by the NCAA. During the 2015-2016 year, Baseball, Women's Golf, Women's Lacrosse, Men's Swimming and Women's Tennis achieved perfect scores.

NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University will holds its graduation exercises this weekend on campus, and 74 student-athletes will receive their diplomas on Friday and Saturday.

NORFOLK, Va. The Old Dominion University men's basketball and women's lacrosse teams have been recognized among the top 10 percent of Academic Progress Rate scores within their respective sport, achieving superior APR marks announced today by the NCAA.
