Sailing Adds Morgan Collins to Coaching Staff

NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University sailing coach Mitch Brindley hired Morgan Collins as an assistant coach, Brindley announced on Wednesday. "Morgan had an outstanding college career for Old Dominion University, and I am thrilled to have her back working with this next generation of Monarch Sailors."

52 Student-Athletes Earn C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal

IRVING, Texas – Old Dominion University had 52 student-athletes earn the Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Medal during the 2017-18 academic year, Commissioner Judy MacLeod announced today. Medals are given to those C-USA student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better.

286 Student-Athletes Earn C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll Recognition

NORFOLK, Va. - A total of 286 student athletes from all of Old Dominion University's athletic teams, the highest number of any league member, have earned recognition to the Commissioner's Honor Roll during the 2017-18 academic year, Commissioner Judy MacLeod announced today. Student-athletes named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. This is the fourth year in a row that ODU placed the highest number of total athletes on the honor roll. In all, 2,824 total student-athletes were named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll from the 14 C-USA member institutions.
