Bradley (Newtown Square, Pa.), a redshirt senior on the Old Dominion women's soccer team, received the Conference USA Spirit of Service Award on Wednesday afternoon, as announced by league officials. The C-USA Spirit of Service Award is designed to recognize the community service efforts of the league's student-athletes, based upon significant community service, good academic standing and participation in their elected sport.

Iris Achterhof was named to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-American Division I Women's Soccer Second Team selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), as announced Thursday afternoon. Achterhof is the first ODU student-athlete to earn the honor since Alex Loughton (men's basketball) earned the honor in 2006.

Iris Achterhof of the Old Dominion women's soccer team was named to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District Three First Team, selected by CoSIDA, which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The Google Cloud Academic All-America program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Sunday marked senior day for six ODU student-athletes: Deirdre Bradley, Natalie Johnson, Kira Laurento, Madison Morningstar, Iris Achterhof and Cristina Bashara.

The Old Dominion women's soccer team (7-6-4, 4-3-2 C-USA) will host the first place team in Conference USA, North Texas (13-1-2, 8-0-1 C-USA), on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 12:00 p.m. EST. Sunday afternoon will mark Senior Day for six ODU student-athletes. ODU women's soccer asks that all fans arrive by 11:40 a.m. for the Senior Day ceremony before the match.
