Glory Johnson of the Old Dominion women's lacrosse team earned a spot on the Virginia All-State Second Team as voted on by the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID).

Glory Johnson and Alyssa Sebesto of the Old Dominion women's lacrosse team were named to the All-Big East Second Team as announced by the league Wednesday afternoon. The Monarchs just wrapped up their first inaugural season in the Big East Conference.

Glory Johnson of the Old Dominion women's lacrosse team was named Big East Attacker of the Week as announced by the league Tuesday morning. This is the juniors second weekly honor as she was named Big East Attacker of the Week on February 25.

In the regular season finale, the Old Dominion lacrosse team (4-13, 1-4) dominated Butler (3-14, 0-5) by an 18-6 score on Saturday afternoon at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex. Saturday marked Senior Day for eight Monarchs: Hannah Breslin, Lyndsey Duty, Lauren Ey, Lauren Irvine, Katie Miller, Sophia Richie, Alyssa Sebesto and Haleigh Wurzel, who were honored beforehand by Director of Athletics, Dr. Wood Selig.

The Old Dominion (3-13, 0-4 Big East) lacrosse team welcomes Butler on Saturday, April 27 at 11 a.m. at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex. Eight seniors in Hanna Breslin, Sophia Richie, Alyssa Sebesto, Lauren Irvine, Lauren Ey, Katie Miller, Lyndsey Duty and Haleigh Wurzel will be honored before the game begins.

The Old Dominion (3-13, 0-4 Big East) women's lacrosse team fell to No. 24 Georgetown (9-7, 3-1 Big East) by a 18-4 final score. Glory Johnson led the Monarchs in the scoring efforts on Saturday afternoon with a hat trick.
