Greg Smith joined the Old Dominion staff in 2000 and now serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Events.
Smith manages numerous aspects of the athletic facility, including all levels of construction projects, maintenance and turf management. He also oversees game and event operations for up to 18 sports.
During his time at Old Dominion, he was been involved with almost $200 million of new construction and renovation projects. He has also been a tournament director for over 35 NCAA and conference championships, including two NCAA women’s basketball regional events and four first and second rounds.
