Tina joined the ODU staff in 1997 and is currently the assistant athletic director for creative and video services.
She is responsible for the management and delivery of all multimedia projects for the communications, marketing and fundraising units of the athletic department in the Jim Jarrett Athletic Administration Building. She is also responsible for the creation and development of the video services department, as well as overseeing the design and daily production of all print, digital and signage artwork.
Prior to working for creative and video services, Tina served as the ODU director of creative services from 1997-2011 where she served as the athletic licensing contact, contracting with new retailers and developed brand strategies for the athletic department, as well as being responsible for the concept, layout, purchase and delivery of all multimedia materials for the athletic department. Tina’s previous job titles prior to working at Old Dominion include the assistant marketing director for United Way of South Hampton Roads (1997) and a marketing representative at Dominion Virginia Power (1993-1997).
Tina has been recognized by receiving numerous awards throughout the years, including Best Newspaper Ad as the “Best in the Nation”, “Best in the Nation” for women’s basketball promotional poster and football season ticket campaign, and best season ticket sales piece, all from the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA).
Tina graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1995 with a B.S. in Mass Communications/Public Relations and from Old Dominion University a M.S. in Education with a concentration in Sports Management in 2003.
