2017-2018: Competed in Women's Open 8+ at Head of the Hooch ... Competed in 2V8 at ODU invite and GMU invite ... Earned C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll ... Named to All-Big 12 Academic Team

2015-2016: Split time between the 3V8 and Novice Eight over the course of the season ... Helped the 3V8, which featured most of the N8 lineup, to a victory in the petite final and a seventh-place finish at the Big 12 Championship ... Helped the N8 finish 21st out of 45 at the Head of the Hooch in the fall ... Competed with both the N8 and 3V8 at the UNC Invite and Knecht Cup ... Helped the N8 to a third-place finish at the Occoquan Sprints ... A member of the N8 that finished third in the novice final at the SIRA Regatta .. Named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.

PREPHelped lead the Oakcrest Varsity 8 to a third-place place finish at the New Jersey State Championships in 2015 and a second-place finish in 2014... Named Team MVP in 2014... A member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Benjamin Thies and Michele Beane... Has two brothers, Braeden and Randy, and two sisters, Devon and Emily... A nursing major... Plans to be a flight nurse upon graduation... Chose ODU for the rowing program, beautiful campus and great community... Selected Old Dominion over Temple, Jacksonville, Eastern Michigan, Northeastern and Syracuse.
