Abby Busch completed her first year at Old Dominion University as an Assistant Director of Sports Performance, working primarily with women’s basketball, women’s lacrosse, swimming and diving and women’s rowing.
Prior to joining ODU Sports Performance, Abby spent this past year at University of Wisconsin-Madison interning with men’s and women’s basketball and hockey programs while completing her Masters in Management of Sports Industries.
From 2014-2015, Busch was the Graduate Assistant Strength Coach at the University of New Haven working specifically with women’s tennis, men’s and women’s cross country, and men’s and women’s long distance track and field, while assisting with all other sports.
Busch is a graduate of Winona State University, earning her degree in exercise science with a minor in coaching and psychology. She played five years for Winona State University’s women’s basketball program.
Busch is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS) and United States Weightlifting (USAW).
