Jacquelyn Duggins has been named an assistant coach for Old Dominion women’s lacrosse in August of 2017.

Duggins comes to Old Dominion from Virginia, where she served as the volunteer assistant for one season. Prior to UVA, Duggins was the inaugural head coach at Gardner-Webb, leading the Running Bulldogs during the very first Division I season in 2015.

During her early years on the sidelines, Duggins also coached for Liberty, Durham Univeristy (England) and Saint Anne’s Belfied High School in Charlottesville.

Duggins began her collegiate playing career at ODU, appearing in three games during her freshman season in 2007. During that season, she was teammates with fellow ODU assistant coach Ashley Waters. Duggins then transferred to Virginia Tech, playing for the Hokies for three seasons. She captained the team for two seasons and started 45 games over her VT career.

A Charlottesville native, Duggins graduated from Virginia Tech in 2010 with a degree in psychology.
