Kansas Linebacker Is Monarchs 10th Spring Addition

Norfolk, Va. - The Old Dominion University football program received its 10th commitment of the junior college signing period today with the signing of linebacker J.J. Williams. He will join the Monarchs when classes resume next week.

The 6-foot-2, 220 pound Williams comes to ODU after spending two seasons at Garden City Community College in Kansas. A native of Derby, Kansas, he was an honorable mention selection in 2008 by the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC). Williams registered 71 total tackles on the season, including 53 solo stops, while also adding seven tackles for loss, a sack and a forced fumble.
