ODU Voted Third in February MAC Rankings; Six Monarchs Remain Ranked

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Old Dominion (7-8, 3-2 MAC) wrestling team remains in third place in the first of two February team rankings. Michael McGee (125), Alex Madrigal (141), Larry Early (157), Luke Drugac (165), Seldon Wright (174), and Antonio Agee (184) are represented in their respective weight classes.

Michael McGee remains leading the 125-pound weight class. Recently, McGee lost to No. 11 Louie Hayes of Virginia by a close 9-6 decision. He has won six of his last seven matches.

At 141, Alex Madrigal checks in at No. 3. The sophomore is ranked behind nationally ranked Jaydin Eierman and Mason Smith.

Remaining in third in the 157-pound weight class, Larry Early has the most wins on the team this season with a 23-8 record. Early has won nine of his 10 most recent matches.

At 165, Luke Drugac remains at fourth in a ranking of all sophomores. The N.J. native is 5-8 in dual action.

Checking in at No. 3, Seldon Wright has a 20-8 record. His last three losses come by decision to nationally ranked wrestlers.

At 184, Antonio Agee remains in the fourth spot with a 16-10 record.

As a team, Old Dominion remains in third place behind Missouri and Central Michigan. The Monarchs most recently fell to Central Michigan 23-13 on Feb 4. ODU was originally picked to finish last in the conference.
