CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Old Dominion University football wide receivers Larry Pinkard and Antonio Vaughan were named to the College Football Performance Awards Wide Receiver Watch List, the CFPA announced on Monday.

"Congratulations to Larry Pinkard and Antonio Vaughan on earning spots on the 2013 CFPA Wide Receiver Award Watch List," stated CFPA Executive Director Brad Smith. "Coach Wilder's effective use of talent at the wide receiver position has helped Old Dominion win twenty-one games over the past two seasons."

Pinkard and Vaughan were part of an ODU receiving core of four wide receivers that caught 55 or more passes in 2012.

Pinkard, a junior to be from Washington, D.C., caught 55 passes for 830 yards and seven touchdowns last season. He saved his best games of the year for the playoffs, catching six passes for a career-best 154 yards and three touchdowns in the second round against Coastal Carolina, including a 73-yard TD pass. In the quarterfinal contest against Georgia Southern, he grabbed a career-best seven receptions for 83 yards.

A native of Ahoskie, N.C., Vaughan was second on the 2012 squad with 60 catches for 885 yards and seven touchdowns. He was named second-team All-Conference. Vaughan also returned seven punts for 92 yards including a 70-yard touchdown return in the victory over William and Mary.

Vaughan recorded four 100-yard receiving games in 2012. He recorded a career-high 12 receptions for 143 yards in ODU's 64-61 thrilling triumph over New Hampshire and set his career-high for receiving yards with six grabs for 146 yards in the quarterfinal contest against Georgia Southern. He also registered 100-yard games against Villanova and James Madison.

ODU is one of just three schools to have a pair of receivers on the list, as Appalachian State and Richmond have two as well.
