NORFOLK, Va. – The Colonial Athletic Association announced Tuesday that sophomore Tristan Warner was named Wrestler of the Week while redshirt freshman Jerome Robinson earned Rookie of the Week honors.

Warner (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) went 4-0 in the 32nd annual Virginia Duals at the Hampton Coliseum over the weekend with three falls and a major decision. With his win against Bucknell on Wednesday evening at the Constant Center, the 165-pounder was a perfect 5-0 for the week. In the Virginia Duals, his pin of Hans Rasmusson led the Monarchs to a 20-19 victory over Arizona State.

Robinson (Toledo, Ohio/St. Ignatius) went 4-1 last week, losing only to the fourth ranked wrestler in the nation from Kent State, 4-0. In his first week of collegiate dual competition, the 125-pound rookie won a major decision against Arizona State and had a dramatic flair with three of his four wins coming by just a single point or in overtime.

The Monarchs return to action on Saturday, Jan. 21 in Fairfax, Va., as they take part in the CAA Duals against Boston University, Hofstra, Drexel and George Mason.
