Women's Soccer Postponed Until Friday

WILMINGTON, N.C. - Old Dominion University women's soccer's match at UNC Wilmington schedule for tonight has been postponed. The match has been reschedule for Friday at 1 p.m. at UNCW.

About the Lady Monarchs ODU brings in a 2-5-1 record into the match, dropping its last four, with three of the four being one-goal games.

Amber Cook leads ODU with four goals and eight points while Jocelyn Weidner is second on the team with three goals and seven points.

Junior defender Rachael Carroll has been great in set pieces, leading the team with five and ranking No. 18 in the nation in assists per game.

Brianna Alvarado has started every game in goal, posting a 1.57 GAA and making 25 saves.

About the Seahawks UNC Wilmington is 5-5 on the year and is 2-0 in the CAA after beating Delaware and Drexel 1-0.

Stephanie Rose leads UNCW with five goals and three assists for 13 points while Erin Pardini (3G, 1A) and Sara Kneeland (2G, 3A) are tied for second on the team with seven points.

Chandler Follett and Caitlin Hunter have split time in goal, with Hunter leading in GAA at 0.77 while Follett leads the team in saves with 41.

Up Next ODU returns home to take on Georgia State at the ODU Soccer Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 3 at 1 p.m.
