Lady Monarchs Picked to Finish Tied for Eighth in CAA

RICHMOND, Va. - Old Dominion University women's soccer was picked to finish in a tie for eighth place in the Colonial Athletic Association, the CAA released according to a vote of the league's head coaches.

James Madison was picked to win the regular season after taking home the tournament title last season. Hofstra was picked second, receiving two first place votes while William and Mary was third, with three first place votes.

Northeastern was picked fourth followed by George Mason, UNC Wilmington and Georgia State, followed by ODU and VCU.

Delaware and Towson tied for 10th with Drexel picked last.

The Tribe led the preseason All-CAA squad with four members. Northeastern's Veronica Napoli was named preseason Player of the Year.
