NORFOLK, VA--Junior forward Steffen Rabben (Fagernes, Valdres, Norway) scored three goals and sophomore Forward T.J. Beaulieu (Apex, NC.) added two and two assists to lead the Old Dominion University Soccer Monarchs to a 7-0 victory over Bryant University Friday night. ODU is now 3-3-1 on the season. The seven goals was the most since a 7-0 win against American in 2000. A crowd of 1,038 was on hand for tonight's match.

Brennan Kirkpatrick (Shreveport, LA.)picked up his third shutout of the year, while Jason Loizou, (Virginia Beach, VA.)Bobby Foglesong(Fredericksburg, VA.), Dylan Montambo (Chesapeake, Va.), and Trent Reid (Martinsburg, W.VA.) each had one assist.

Senior, Trevor Banks (Madison, WI. ) got the Monarchs rolling with a goal in the first 10 minutes of play. It came off a corner from Dylan Montambo to Jason Loizou who then fed Banks. The pre-season All-American also assisted on the Monarchs second goal, the by Steffen Rabben. It was his first of three on the night. Junior Roberto Squeglia (Schenectady, NY.) also scored a goal tonight.

ODU begins CAA Play next Saturday at the University of Delaware.
