Monarchs Lead Mission Inn Classic After First Round

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS,FL--Old Dominion University freshman Matt Watson (Chesapeake, VA.-Western Branch HS) shot a 67 and leads the first round Of the Mission Inn Collegiate Classic by two strokes over Bryce Ledford of UT Chattanooga. As a team the Monarchs shot 281 in the rain delayed first round which Was completed Saturday and lead Jacksonville State by five strokes.

Greg Sampson (Warren, RI.) is tied for third with a 69, while freshman Jeff Long (Centreville, VA.) is tied for seventh with a 70. The tournament will be completed On Sunday.
