Men's Basketball Falls At N.C.-Wilmington, 66-56

WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) - Brett Blizzard scored 16 points while Craig Callahan added six key points in the second half to help North Carolina-Wilmington beat Old Dominion 66-56 on Wednesday night.
Blizzard also grabbed six rebounds and dished out five assists as the Seahawks (12-6, 7-1) retained first place in the Colonial Athletic Association with the victory.
Anthony Terrell added 12 points and nine rebounds while Ed Williams had 11 points for N.C.-Wilmington.
The Seahawks led 28-18 at halftime and built their largest lead at 51-36 on two free throws from Brandon Clifford with 10:16 remaining.
The Monarchs (9-9, 3-5) made a run to cut the lead to 54-47 on a basket from Ricardo Marsh with 6:38 left. Callahan then scored six in a row for N.C.-Wilmington to push the lead to 10.
Rasheed Wright scored 23 points for Old Dominion while Marsh added 10 points. Callahan finished with eight for the night.
The Monarchs return to action on Saturday when they host William and Mary at 7 p.m. in the fieldhouse. The game will be televised live on Comcast Sportsnet.
