Morgan Wilson Sits In 12th After Day One Of Singlehanded Nationals

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Old Dominion senior sailor Morgan Wilson sits in 12th after six races were completed on day one of the 2010 ICSA Women's Singlehanded National Championships in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Yale's Claire Dennis leads the 18-person field after the opening day.

Wilson, who finished fourth at the MAISA Conference Championships in late September to qualify for nationals, posted her best result (10th) in the fifth race of the day.

The senior finished fifth at singlehanded nationals in 2009.

The championship regatta will continue on Saturday morning and conclude on Sunday.
