NORFOLK, Va. - Jennifer Toomy was named the tennis pro for the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center, Tennis Coordinator Mary Jordan announced Thursday.

Toomy comes to ODU from Ocala, Fla., where she was the head tennis pro and the interm Director of Tennis at the Golden Ocala Gold and Equestrian Club.

Toomy started her career in tennis as the pro at the South Beach Racquet Club in Hilton Head, S.C. before moving to the Virginia area for the next seven years at the Westwood Tennis Club and the The Boar's Head Sports Club.
