Jacqueline Yost returns for her third season as the assistant coach for the Old Dominion Swimming Program under head coach Carol Withus. Yost has been named to the 2007 World CHampionship staff for the March event in Melbourne, Australia...

Yost was previously the head coach at Youngstown State University and was a member of the USA Olympic Staff for the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece.

Yost served as an assistant coach at American and nationally ranked Texas A&M before taking over the reigns at Youngstown State. While at Youngstown State, Yost's teams improved from a 2-7 record to a 7-4 mark in two seasons.

Also heavily involved with swimming on both the club and national levels, Yost, a former intern with USA Swimming, was a USA Swimming staff member at the 2003 World Championships in Barcelona, Spain and the 2002 World Championships in Moscow, Russia. She was also selected to work at the USA Swimming National Distance Training Camp and on the USA Swimming Open Water National staff. Prior to joining Old Dominion, Yost was in charge of the Penguin Swimming Club in Youngstown, Ohio.

In 1994 Yost was selected as a United States Masters Swimming All-American, achieving a number one national ranking that season. Yost graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992 with a degree in history and completed her masters degree in 1998 at American University. She resides in Virginia Beach with her husband Pat, a Navy Seal.
