ODU qualifies for the ICSA Women's National Championships for the fifth consecutive year

ODU advances to compete in the iCSA Dinghy Coed Semifinals in Hampton on April 27-28
The coed team seeks to qualify for the ICSA Dingy National Semis later this month in Hampton
Monarchs took fourth in Throggs Neck and sixth in Geneva in their races over the weekend
2012-13: Named to the All-MAISA Second Team for Coed Skippers... Claimed a first place finish in the A Division of the Riley Cup with Julia Wiesner... Also while coupled with Wiesner, garnered second place finishes in the B Divisions of the Rose Bowl Regatta and the Sherman Hoyt Trophy, respectively... Captured third place in the B Division of the St. Mary's Fall Interconference and placed seventh in the B Division of the Nevin's Trophy Race alongside Wiesner in both as well...Concluded spring season by securing seventh place in the B Division of the Gill Coed Championships while teamed with Julia Wiesner and Cooper Paiva... Captured the B Division title of the Eastern Division of the ICSA Dinghy Coed National Semifinals with Wiesner... Registered a third place finish in the B Division of the America Trophy race alongside Wiesner.
Prep: Finished second at nationals as a skipper in 2011... Placed first at the Buzzards Bay Regatta in 2011... Won the Midwinters in 2011... Finished first at the team race nationals in 2012... Placed second in the youth sailing championships in 2012.
Personal: Born June 21, 1994... Son of Scott Forrer and Victoria Lasaala(sp?)... Has one brother, Juan... Was on the surf club team in high school... Majoring in business.
