The Old Dominion University cheering squad is a safe, professional and athletic program. The squad is comprised of student-athletes who are committed to one another and to promoting spirit within and outside of the university. The squad performs at all football home games and selected road games, as well as all men's and women's basketball home games. Throughout the year, the Monarch cheerleaders also perform for additional sporting events, appear at public events and school functions and travel to Conference USA and NCAA tournaments.
