Lacrosse Adds Two Players to Roster
NORFOLK, Va. - ODU Head Coach Heather Holt has finalized her team roster for the 2013-14 season with the additions of freshman Connor Carson and Robert Morris transfer sophomore Missy Koscinski.
Carson and Koscinski are the final additions to a class that features goalkeeper Maggi Buckley (Northern HS/Md.), attack/midfielder Megan Cameron (Conestoga HS/Pa.), mid/defense Ijeoma Ikpe (James Caldwell HS/N.J.), defenseman Haley Knudsen (Loudoun County HS/Va.), attacker Morgan Marrale (Century HS/Md.), attack/midfielder Colby Muller (Damascus HS/Md.), attack/midfielder Megan Topper (Liberty HS/Md.) and attacker Carly Williams (Mount de Sales Academy/Md.).
Connor Carson (Albemarle HS/ Va.)
Carson, a 5-foot-6 midfielder, set an Albemarle High School record as a junior scoring 83 goals. She also had a school record 131 draw controls. Carson also had 29 assists, 83 ground balls and 12 interceptions as a junior. Carson was voted the 2012 Player of the Year for the West Central Region. Carson wanted to play college lacrosse in the Commonwealth and felt Old Dominion was a great fit for her.
Missy Koscinski (Garnet Valley HS/ Pa.)
Missy Koscinski, a 5-foot-9 defenseman, played in two games for Robert Morris last season. Koscinski led her high school team to a 17-3 record in 2011-2012. She was named to the Central League Honorable mention and the Honorable mention All-Delco in 2012. Koscinski helped lead her team to the State Championships in 2011 and 2012.
