Sailing Continues Strong Fall with Third Place at MAISA Women's Fall Championship

GENEVA, N.Y. - The duo of Andrea Luna and Chloe Constants won the Divison A group at the MAISA Women's Fall Championship over the week to help the Old Dominion University sailing team to a third place finish at the event.

Luna and Constants won three of the 10 races in the event and never finished worse than fifth in a race.  Rachel Austin and Grace Austin finished fifth in Division B to give ODU their third place finish.

At the Danmark Trophy in New London, Conn., ODU's Esteban Forrer and Julia Wiesner finished fifth in Division B, winning the second race of the event.  Brady Stagg and Jill Fattibene finished in 10th.

The final event of the weekend was the St. Mary's South #1 Dinghy Qualifier.  Daniel Lochner and Colin Voigt finished eight while Joe David, Lee Dumalaing and Kaylie Gallagher came in seventh in Division B to give ODU a seventh place overall finish.
