MONARCH SPOTLIGHT

ODUSports.com and Monarch Media present a weekly Monarch Spotlight that gives fans a chance to learn more about their favorite student-athletes at Old Dominion. The latest installment of Monarch Spotlight narrows in on senior women's field hockey player, Danielle Clutter.

Danielle is from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and started her career as a redshirt freshman, where she started all 24 games, and posted 10 points on four goals and two assists. Clutter scored five goals and added 10 points in her redshirt sophomore season. Last year she started in 19 of the 21 games and was named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad for the second straight year.

The senior back was just named to the Big East Honor Roll and has four goals (three of those game winners) on the year.

The second-seed Lady Monarchs travel to the Big East Tournament and play the three-seed Louisville Cardinals in Storrs, Connecticut on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
