NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion University football team began spring practice this morning at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex.
The Monarchs went with a 24-period practice to open the spring, which featured several team periods that were worked in between individual drill sessions.
The practice, which saw the Monarchs in just helmets, also featured 7-on-7 drills and the ultra-competitive 1-on-1’s between the wide receivers and defensive backs, and the offensive and defensive lines.
Due to potential inclement weather on Monday, the Monarchs will be back out on the practice field tomorrow for the second practice of the spring.
