Spring Football Practice Update - Day Three
NORFOLK, Va. - For the first time in 16 days, the Old Dominion University football team hit the practice field for the third practice of the spring in helmets.
The weather postponed a pair of practices followed by a week off during spring break delayed the spring, but ODU bared the elements this morning, practicing for an hour and a half in a slight rain.
Today's practice focused predominately on positon and special teams work, as well as team periods that focused on end of the game type scenarios.
ODU will hold its annual Pro Day later this afternoon with 10 former Monarchs working out in front of NFL scouts.
The Monarchs continue practice tomorrow and will dress in full pads for the first time this spring.
