Career Record: 44-45 (Includes Redshirt Season)

2017-2018: Ended the season at the 165-pound starter... Finished the season with a 22-16 record and a fifth-place finish at the MAC Championships...Wrestled two dual meets for the Monarchs... Also competed at the Hokie Open, Lock Haven Classic, F&M Open, Appalachian State Open, ESU Open, and the National Collegiate Open... Finished in fifth-place at the NCO. Tallied 10 wins by decision, five major decisions, two tech. falls, and four pins. 

2016-17: Posted a 10-17 record as a redshirt freshman at 157 lbs... Started for the Monarchs in five dual meets... Earned one fall and one major decision... Went 3-2 at the Southeast Open... Posted a 2-2 record at the Lock Haven Classic, F&M Open and the ESU Open. 

2015-16: Went 12-11 at 149 as a redshirt... Earned three wins via major decision and recorded two falls... Went 5-1 at the East Stroudsburg Open en route to a third place finish... Finished 3-2 at the NC State Wolfpack Open... Registered a fall at the Millersville Shorty Hitchcock Open... Picked up a major decison win at the National Collegiate Open. Earned C-USA Commisioner's Academic Medal. C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll

Prep: Posted a 105-49 career record at Stroudsburg High School in Pennsylvania… Qualified for the 2015 PIAA AAA State Championships after finishing 3rd at regional tournament… Was a two-time District 11 place winner, finishing fifth in 2015 and sixth in 2014... The 2013 PA Cadet Freestyle third place finisher. 

Off the Mat: Born June 3, 1996… Son of Chris and Katy Jones… Has one brother, Jake, and one sister, Alyssa, who currently plays for ODU’s field hockey team… Major is undecided… Father, Chris Jones, was an NCAA Qualifier for East Stroudsburg University in wrestling.

Why ODU? "I came here to be a National Champion."
