Drew Jacobs was hired as the Athletic Facilities & Event Coordinator in February of 2016.
Jacobs comes to Old Dominion after serving as the Assistant Coordinator of Athletic Facilities and Events at Western Kentucky University. At WKU, Jacobs managed the Nick Denes Baseball Field, while also running the operations for the baseball indoor facility, track and field facility and tennis facility. He served as the game manager for baseball, volleyball, tennis and track and field.
Prior to his full-time position, Jacobs worked as a graduate assistant for athletic facilities at WKU.
During his tenure with the Hilltoppers, Jacobs assisted in operations for several conference and NCAA events, including the 2014 and 2015 Conference USA Cross Country Championships, the 2012 NCAA Golf Regional and the 2012 Sun Belt Baseball and Volleyball Championships.
Jacobs graduated from WKU in 2012 with a degree in sport management, before earning his Master’s in sport administration in 2014.
