Rowing to Race at the Head of the Hooch Regatta

NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s rowing team travels to Chattanooga, Tennessee to participate in the Head of the Hooch regatta on Nov. 5-6. The two-day event takes place at Ross’s Landing Park with the first event of the day starting at 7:50 a.m.

The Lady Monarchs are competing in four events at the Head of the Hooch regatta this weekend. Those include the Women’s Championship 8+ (WV8+) and Championship 4+ (WV4+), Women’s College & Club Novice 8+ (WCN8+) and the Women’s Open 8+ (WO8+).  For a list of the events and the boat rosters click here.

This year’s event marks the 34th annual Head of the Hooch regatta. The Atlanta Rowing Club and the Lookout Rowing Club, who are the host clubs, expect almost 2,100 entries from over 200 clubs and teams. Click here for the Regatta Central homepage.
