Club Soccer: Member of the Minnesota Thunder Academy ECNL for seven years... Played on a team that reached the 2016 National League Finals... Helped her team win the 2015 ECNL North American Cup National Championship... In 2012 her team was the U.S. Club Region II Champions... Made the Minnesota Olympic Development Program Regional Team in 2011 and 2012.

High School: Earned All-Conference honors in soccer from 2014-2016... Named to the All-State team in 2015 and 2016... Was an All-State athlete for her high school track and field team in 2014 and 2015... In addition to her success on the field, Josie showed success in the classroom earning Academic All-State honors in both soccer and track and field... She was also a member of the National Honor Society (2016 and 2017).

Personal / Additional: Daughter of Steve and Jodi Sauro... Younger sister to Steven and Dan... Volunteers in her community at Neighbors Inc. and helped by doing yard work for the elderly... Her mom played basketball at the University of Minnesota (1986-90)... Josie was a level 9/10 club gymnast until she reached the 9th grade.
