No. 26 ODU Defeats George Washington, 6-1

TAMPA, Fla. – The No. 26 nationally ranked Old Dominion men’s tennis team (10-6) defeated George Washington by a 6-1 score on Sunday at the USF Varsity Tennis Courts.

“It was great to validate yesterday’s win,” said ODU head coach Dominik Mueller. “We finished this trip on a high note which is always a positive. We will have a short turn around before heading to MTSU for our conference pod play. Conference matches are always special so we are looking forward to compete down there.”

The Monarchs have won four of their last five matches.

Old Dominion will return to action on Friday, March 16, when the Monarchs travel to Murfreesboro for a Conference USA showdown against Middle Tennessee at 2:00 p.m.
