“We are so thrilled to have another great finish, especially against so many highly ranked teams. In my opinion, the second round at Michigan State was the best regular season round in program history. To shoot five under par on an NCAA Regional Course proves what a great team we have,” said head coach Mallory Hetzel.
Individually, Charlotte De Corte posted an even par and two-under par round to open up the tournament. In the final round, the Belgium native posted a two-over 74 to finish out the tournament even par. “In the last seven days we have traveled 2500 miles, and played 144 holes of competitive golf. It was mentally and physically challenging but it also afforded us the opportunity to gain a lot of confidence. We look forward to continuing our good play at Furman next weekend.”
