NORFOLK, Va. -- Donning throwback light blue uniforms with the late Anne Donovan's name on the back, the Old Dominion women's basketball team routed UTSA, 72-47, on Alumni Day on Saturday at the Ted Constant Center.
Old Dominion (15-5, 6-2) has now won six straight and is off to its best 20-game start since 2007-08.
"Anne Donovan meant so much to this university and this program. The jerseys were a secret and it surprised our team. I think they fed off of that and they never looked back." - Coach McCray
Playing without their leading scorer in Victoria Morris (out with a foot injury), the Monarchs had four players reach double figures. Aziah Hudson tallied a team-high 13 points and Taylor Edwards added 12 points, six assists and four steals.
The Monarchs scored a season-high 48 points in the paint.

The 47 points is the lowest ODU has held an opponent to this season.
