2008: Started all 20 games for the ODU back line...Scored first career goal, a game-winner, against VCU (10/19)...Helped lead ODU to one of the top defensive years in school history, posting 11 shutouts with a CAA-best 0.82 goals against average...Rarely left the field, playing in no less than 82 minutes in every game...Took eight shots, including three on-goal.
2007: Started all 17 games for the Lady Monarchs...Anchored a solid backline for ODU that gave up one goal or fewer in 12 games...Moved to center back for most of the year, controlling the defense...Registered two shots, including one on-goal.
2006: Played in 16 matches for ODU while starting 10...Took four shots.
2005: Played in two games this season in the backline.
Prep: Mastaler received the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools All Conference Award for the 2005 season and was named to the Daily Press Second-Team for the 2004-05 soccer season...She was a defensive starter for Hampton Roads Academy, where she played for Kelly Alford for 4 years during which time she maintained academic honors...Mastaler played for the Virginia Rush Soccer Club and Nike Rush, the 2004 Virginia State Champions and semi-finalists in 2005, under Coach Vyburt Silcott...Mastaler played District and State ODP for 4 years.
