HUNTINGTON, W.V. - The Old Dominion men’s basketball team (9-5, 2-0 C-USA) hits the road for a pair of Conference USA matchups. First, ODU will take on Marshall (9-6, 2-0 C-USA) on Thursday, Jan. 5 at 7:00 p.m. EST on C-USA TV. Then on Saturday, Jan. 7 at 6:00 p.m. EST, the Monarchs square-off against Western Kentucky (8-7, 2-0 C-USA) on the American Sports Network (ASN).

The Monarchs will look to win their third in a row and four of its last five on Thursday night.

Radio for Thursday and Saturday
Old Dominion Senior Associate Athletic Director Ted Alexander will take care of the play-by-play duties, while ODU Hall of Famer and former NBA champion Dave Twardzik will handle color commentary. Ted and Dave’s live pregame show will begin at 6:30 p.m. EST on Thursday and then at 5:30 p.m. EST on Saturday.

Radio: ODU Sports Network - ESPN Radio 94.1 FM (Norfolk), Sports FM 100.5 (Richmond), 94.1 FM WLVA and Fox Sports 580 (Lynchburg).

-Thursday night will mark the 15th all-time meeting between these two schools.
-ODU leads the all-time series, 8-6.
-Marshall won both meetings last season, while ODU won both meetings during the 2013-14 season, as well as the 2014-15 season.
-These two schools first met during the 1966-67 season. Marshall won the first three meetings in this series.
-ODU is 2-5 all-time against Marshall in Huntington.

-Saturday night will mark the 33rd all-time meeting between ODU and WKU.
-The all-time series is split 50/50, with each team winning 16 of the 32 games.
-These two teams met a total of three times last season, as ODU claimed victory in all three meetings.
-The Monarchs enter Saturday’s game on a four game win streak.
-These two schools first met during the 1970-71 season in a game WKU won 96-82. In fact, the Hilltoppers won the first six meetings between the two schools.
-ODU is 4-14 all-time when playing WKU in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

-The most points ODU has allowed in regulation this season is 67 (vs. VCU [RV]), the Monarchs allowed 68 to No. 10 Louisville in a game that went to overtime.
-Thursday marks the first road conference game for ODU, while it also marks the first home conference game for Marshall.
-ODU has out-rebounded its opponents in 10 of 14 contests so far this season and is 8-2 in such games.
-ODU has allowed less than 60 points in nine of 14 contests so far this season and is 8-1 in such games.
-Brandan Stith has recorded four double-doubles this season.
-ODU is 1-2 on Thursday’s and 2-1 on Saturday’s so far this season.
