NORFOLK, VA-- Bleacher Report has named Old Dominion Associate coach Jim Corrigan as one of the top 15 assistant coaches in the nation.

Corrigan has spent nearly two decades on the Monarch's sideline, and the program has benefited greatly from his presence. He's guided the team to six NCAA Tournament appearances and five CAA titles (three with Blaine Taylor and two with Jeff Capel), this includes the last eight straight seasons of national post season play.

His most unique contribution might be his overseas recruiting. Corrigan has found talent from Australia, Lithuania, The Ivory Coast, Canada, Finland and Denmark.

Corrigan is currently president of the assistant coaches committee of the National Association of Basketball Coaches. He is a 1980 graduate of Duke University.
