ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The #8 Lady Monarchs are in third at the MAISA Women's Fall Regatta, with a tie for first in A division. The team finished with 30 points through four completed races, just nine back of the lead and six back of second place. Senior Jaclyn Finney and sophomore Stephanie Roble are tied for the lead in A division with seven points.

Roble skippered the boat with Finney as crew, and the pair finished with one win and three second place finishes. They are tied with the St. Mary's boat for the A division lead.

In B division, ODU sophomore Morgan Wilson and senior Alissa Ayres are currently in seventh place headed into the second day of racing. With 23 points, the tandem are just 15 back of the lead and finished with two top five efforts on the first day.

The wind was too light to get any more than four races finished on the first day. With racing set to return to action tomorrow morning, the Lady Monarchs will have as many as 10 races to make up ground on the second day.
