Old Dominion Finishes 11th At Nevins Trophy Regatta

KINGS POINT, N.Y. - Senior Stephanie Roble and junior Emily Reich paced the Old Dominion sailing team with a solid A-Division performance at the Nevins Trophy Regatta. The duo claimed eighth in the top division, while ODU finished 11th overall.

Roble and Reich posted five top-10 finishes against a 20-team field in just seven races. The tandem earned a fifth-place result in the fourth race.

Sophomore's Zach Runci and Dillon Paiva paired up with junior Jessica Milligan in the B-Division and ended the regatta in 14th. Milligan and Paiva posted No. 17 ODU's best finish of the weekend with a fourth-place finish in the fifth race.

Sophomore Collin Leon was 12th in six C-Division races that were completed.

Eighth-ranked Harvard won the regatta with 131 points. Third-ranked Georgetown trailed by only four points to garner second, while No.1 Boston College, No. 5 St. Mary's and No. 2 Brown rounded out the top five.

Old Dominion will next compete in three events from September 25-26: The Laser South and MAISA Women's Singlehanded at Navy and the St. Mary's Intersectional Promo at St. Mary's College.
