NORFOLK, Va. -- Old Dominion University head football coach Bobby Wilder has announced the addition of safety A.T. Aoelua to the fall 2009 roster.

Aoelua, a 5-8, 190-pound native of Pago, Pago American Samoa, joins the Monarchs from Monterey Peninsula College where he was an All-Coast Conference selection, an All-Coast Conference Outstanding Defensive Back honoree, and First Team All-California Defense recipient. He helped his Coast Conference Championship Lobo squad to a 10-1 record last fall and an appearance in the Bulldog Bowl.

Scholastically, Aoelua graduated from Fagaitua High School in American Samoa.
