The No. 24 Monarchs Are Set to Host American University on Friday

NORFOLK, Va. - The Monarchs of Old Dominion University will host the Eagles of American University on Friday, Dec. 21, at 5 pm in the Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Va.

The No. 24 Monarchs come into this match with a 2-2 dual meet record. Their two wins were big ones, as ODU knocked off No. 25 Wisconsin and Iowa State in Ames, Iowa. Old Dominion has also competed in three different open tournaments throughout this season, in which ODU had 11 wrestlers place at the Clarion Open, six guys place at the Nittany Lion Open and 12 placers at the Cleveland State Open.

Old Dominion is led by their five nationally ranked wrestlers: No. 15 Jerome Robinson (125), No. 16 Scott Festejo (133), No. 15 Justin LaValle (141), No. 16 Matt Tourdot (HWT).

The Eagles of American University lost a heartbreaker in their one and only dual match this season. American lost 23-21 to No. 19 Maryland on Dec. 9th.

American is led by No. 26 freshman David Terao (125), No. 26 senior Kevin Tao (149) and No. 30 junior Blake Herrin (HWT).
