Final Day At UVa Invitational

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- Sophomore Nate Grover (Suffolk, Va.) won the second backdraw bracket in Flight B singles highlighting Monarch men's tennis action at the Univeristy of Virginia Men's Tennis Invitational.
Grover won both his matches on Sunday afternoon opening with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Liberty's Carlos Cardona. He then wrapped up play and winning the second consolation bracket in Flight B with a 7-5, 6-2 decision over Wake Forest's John Shults.
Sophomore Henrique Cancado (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) lost his consolation Flight A singles match. Playing the second backdraw, he missed making the finals with a 6-1, 7-6 loss to Andrew Hamar of Wake Forest.
